AH - Asia High | AL- Asia Low - the high and low of the Asian session.
BE - Break Even, the level at which your loss will be zero.
BIAS - the context element of trading that defines the overall market sentiment. A clear understanding of where the price will move and which side is better to work from.
BSL - Buy-side liquidity, the stops of those who have opened a short position.
Buy Limit - a pending order to buy below the current market price.
Entry Point - the entry level where your position will be opened.
EQH - Equal highs | EQL - Equal lows - equal highs or lows representing equally taken out liquidity.
FTA - First Trouble Area, the first zone that serves as initial resistance and can potentially reverse the movement in an undesired direction.
HTF - Higher Time-frame.
IMB | FVG (Imbalance | Fair Value Gap | Disbalance | Price Insufficiency) - all refer to the same thing: a price imbalance. A range on the chart where there was little liquidity. It implies a strong impulsive candle movement that the price almost always returns to cover.
LG - Liquidity Grab - a synonym for Sweep & Raid, also refers to taking out liquidity.
LH - London High | LL - London Low - the high and low of the London session.
Limit Order - a pending order to buy or sell that gets activated when the price reaches a certain level.
LTF - Lower Time-frame.
Market Order - a market order to buy or sell, which gets activated immediately at the current market price.
Move - a movement that leads to something.
NY High | NY Low - the high and low of the New York session.
Order - an order to buy or sell a specific quantity of an asset.
OTE - Optimal Trade Entry, the optimal entry point for a trade.
OTT - Optimal Trade Time, refers to the ideal time for trading.
PDH - Previous Day High | PDL - Previous Day Low - the high and low of the previous day.
PTA - Possible Trouble Area, a problematic zone that can also reverse the movement in the opposite direction.
PWH - Previous Week High | PWL - Previous Week Low - the high and low of the previous week.
Raid - a liquidity raid, taking it out with the body.
RR - Risk Reward, the risk to expected profit ratio. This tool helps you determine if a position will be profitable for you.
RTO - Return To Origin, a pullback or correction.
Sell Limit - a pending order to sell above the current market price.
SL - Stop Loss, a pending order used to limit losses, thus protecting against significant losses.
SM - Smart Money, a concept that includes various tools to analyze the actions of major market players.
SSL - Sell-side liquidity, the stops of those who have opened a long position.
Sweep - a liquidity sweep, taking it out with a wick.
TP - Take Profit, a pending order used to secure profits when the price reaches a certain level.
TV - TradingView, a platform for chart analysis.
